The afternoon sessions focus on operationalizing living wages by addressing both the root causes of low pay and the mechanisms that can drive sustainable change. The discussions will examine the economic conditions, market dynamics, and structural factors that perpetuate low wages, providing an evidence-based foundation for effective interventions that promote inclusive growth, social justice, and long-term stability. Building on this analysis, governments, employers, and workers’ organizations will share experiences and best practices in minimum wage setting and collective bargaining, exploring how institutions can function transparently, inclusively, and sustainably.
